Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech

One of Morocco's premier guides takes us on a tour of Marrakech, including stops at Jemaa el-Fna Square and the gardens of Jacques Majorelle. After, we sit down to dinner at our guide's private riad.

Accommodation: La Mamounia, Marrakech

La Mamounia: The journey begins in the corridors of La Mamounia, which magically reproduce the Medina’s narrow streets. Behind the characteristic wooden doors that protect our guests’ privacy lie 135 rooms, 71 suites and 3 riads, where the quintessence of Moroccan craftsmanship is expressed in all its splendor, alongside impeccable contemporary decoration.

Day 2: Plateau du Kik

Hike along the Plateau du Kik, with incredible views of the High Atlas Mountains. After a picnic lunch, spend the afternoon taking advantage of the Kasbah Tamadot's pool and spa.

Accommodation: Kasbah Tamadot, Asni

Kasbah Tamadot: Situated in the spectacular Atlas Mountains in Morocco, the award-winning Kasbah Tamadot was bought by Sir Richard Branson during one of his famous ballooning expeditions. Each of the 28 rooms and suites has been individually decorated to reflect the beautiful architecture of the building and features antiques from all over the world.

Day 3: Jbel Toubkal

We hike to remote Berber villages at the base of Jbel Toubkal (the highest peak in North Africa) and stop by our local guide's home for tea. Back at our kasbah, head to the spa for an argan oil massage or a hammam (steam bath).

Accommodation: Kasbah Tamadot, Asni

Day 4: Skoura

Follow a centuries-old trade route to a picnic with a stunning view over Kasbah Tamedakhte. Later, we settle in at the luxurious Dar Ahlam before a delicious dinner in an extra-special location!

Accommodation: Dar Ahlam, Palmerair de Skoura

Dar Ahlam: Created by Thierry Teyssier, Dar Ahlam is a traditional casbah at the gates of the Moroccan desert near Ouarzazate in the palm grove of Skoura. No day is alike. Every moment is staged in places where the intuition of happiness becomes reality. The hours of the day each tell a story that we are free to catch on the fly or let slip to live at our own pace, like a waking dream that we would retain to better prolong it. In a perfect harmony of colors, materials or fabrics, the decorations are inspired by the spirit of the seasons to renew themselves twice a year and create at each of your visits this delicious feeling of unceasingly discovery of a mystery re-invent.

Day 5: Skoura

Walk amid the arid landscapes of Sidi Flah toward the Dades River where we stop for a midday refreshment. This afternoon, explore the oasis of Skoura on foot, observing the day-to-day life in an oasis and the kasbah ruins.

Accommodation: Dar Ahlam, Palmerair de Skoura

Day 6: Valley of Roses

Pass by fruit orchards and row upon row of Damask rose bushes as we explore the fragrant Valley of Roses. We have lunch nearby before heading back to Dar Ahlam where a memorable evening awaits.

Accommodation: Dar Ahlam, Palmerair de Skoura

Day 7: Departure

You’ll be driven to the Ouarzazate Airport today in time to check in for your flight. So long!
